In 2022, the largest ones in the Aegean region were STAR Refinery and Petkim

In the list determined by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry based on production-to-sales performances in the year 2022, STAR Refinery ranked first among the top 100 companies. Petkim also secured the third position on the same list.

As Türkiye's largest integrated industrial holding and its largest direct foreign investor, SOCAR Türkiye's group companies, STAR Refinery and Petkim, secured positions in the top three of the list of the 100 largest companies determined by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) based on their production-to-sales performances in 2022. Just like last year, in this ranking, STAR Refinery retained its first position, and Petkim ranked third.

In 2022, STAR Refinery achieved a capacity utilization rate of 113%, meeting approximately 25% of both Petkim's raw material needs and Türkiye's processed petroleum product requirements. On the other hand, Petkim, with its commercial product portfolio spanning 56 items, effectively addressed customer needs and recorded a total sales increase of 70% to reach 48.9 billion Turkish Liras in 2022.
